In combination with the editors of Visual Cultures in Britain - a journal focused on visual material related to Great Britain - I was given the opportunity to conduct a complete re-design of the publication.
In order to challenge the current, more formal design of the publication I explored the different ways in which I could add energy to the publication without overshadowing the content. I aimed towards a creative look for the publication in order for it to grab the attention of the creatively driven as well as academic people.
I aimed to pay homage to the British cultural history that moulded the publication, as well as more modern stylistic approaches of today’s British practitioners.
